Field Operations Manager

We are looking for a Field Operations Manager to lead the execution of advanced UAV-based radar and sensing missions, ensuring safe, efficient, and disciplined field operations through effective coordination of technical teams, logistics, and mission requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate field deployment activities, including equipment movement, site readiness, operational planning, and team coordination.Manage end-to-end field execution of approved test plans, ensuring adherence to defined procedures, flight sequences, and operational requirements.Coordinate site permissions, area clearances, ATC coordination, logistics, and field access requirements for mission execution.Conduct operational briefings and ensure effective coordination between pilots, system engineers, data engineers, and field technicians.Manage daily flight operations, including GO/NO-GO decisions, sortie sequencing, turnaround activities, and operational reporting.Maintain operational documentation including flight logs, checklists, issue tracking, and field reports.Ensure safe handling, deployment, and recovery of large UAV platforms and associated payload systems.Coordinate troubleshooting activities and escalate technical issues to the appropriate engineering teams.Drive operational efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and mission requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Aviation, Management, or related field.Experience managing field operations, technical deployments, or multidisciplinary engineering teams.Valid driving licence with ability to operate company vehicles for field deployment.Strong understanding of UAV operations, field procedures, and technical workflows.PreferredExperience in UAV/drone operations, radar systems, aerospace systems, or engineering test environments.Experience coordinating logistics, permissions, and safety-critical operations.Experience managing teams in remote field environments.If you want to be a part of this path-breaking technology company, kindly apply through this job posting or email us at hr@sisirradar.com.
