Role Description This part-time remote role supports the USAF Civil Engineer community by providing technical, analytical, and administrative assistance to ongoing engineering and installation support initiatives. Day-to-day tasks may include reviewing project documentation, preparing reports and presentations, assisting with data collection and analysis, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams across multiple locations. The role may also involve researching best practices, contributing to process improvements, and helping maintain accurate records related to facilities, infrastructure, and mission support activities. While work is performed remotely, the position requires close collaboration with Air Force personnel and adherence to established standards, timelines, and security protocols.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret technical information and support infrastructure or facilities-related projects.Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and correspondence for technical and non-technical audiences.Candidates should possess solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.Candidates should possess proficiency with common office and collaboration software tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and virtual meeting platforms).Candidates should possess a strong commitment to teamwork, integrity, and service, with an understanding of or interest in military engineering, infrastructure resilience, or public-sector facilities management.Relevant education in engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience supporting engineering or infrastructure projects is a plus.Ability to comply with applicable security, confidentiality, and data-handling requirements associated with supporting Air Force operations.
