Finance Manager | MNC Manufacturing

Your new company A well-established multinational electronics manufacturing group with operations across Asia-Pacific. The company operates a sizeable manufacturing facility in Shenzhen and is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to strengthen financial controls, reporting quality, and business partnering capabilities across its China operations. Your new role Reporting to both the China Managing Director and regional finance leadership, you will act as the key finance leader for the Shenzhen manufacturing operation while overseeing the financial reporting responsibilities of the Hong Kong entity. You will lead an established finance team and serve as the primary bridge between local operations and international stakeholders.Lead full accounting, month-end close, statutory reporting and management reporting activitiesManage and develop the local finance team across accounting, AP, AR and treasury-related functionsPerform detailed variance analysis and identify operational and financial performance driversPartner closely with manufacturing, operations and senior management teams to improve business performanceEnhance internal controls, reporting accuracy and finance governance processesSupport budgeting, forecasting and working capital management initiativesDrive finance transformation projects and improve process efficiency across the organisationAct as the key liaison with Australia headquarters and ensure timely group reporting requirements are metWhat you'll need to succeed Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplineProfessional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent8+ years of progressive finance experience within manufacturing environmentsPrevious experience as Finance Manager, Plant Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar leadership positionStrong accounting, reporting, financial analysis and business partnering capabilitiesExperience supporting manufacturing operations, inventory and costing activitiesProven ability to identify issues, challenge the status quo and implement improvementsStrong English and Mandarin communication skills with experience interacting with regional stakeholdersSAP experience is highly preferredExposure to multinational corporations or international reporting environments will be advantageous What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or contact Roy Lui at Hays for a confidential discussion.
