As we expand our international presence, we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Finance Operations Specialist to own our end-to-end financial operations and support our growth journey.🛠️ About the RoleAs Finance Operations Specialist, you will manage the full day-to-day financial engine of the company—from daily accounting and treasury management to financial control, budgeting, and public grant justifications. Working closely with our CFO, Procurement, and operational teams, you will combine numerical accuracy with process-driven efficiency to optimize our ERP environment (Odoo) and ensure financial compliance. With your true Startup/Scale-up DNA, you bring a pragmatic, highly autonomous mindset ready to own operations end-to-end in a fast-paced DeepTech environment.📋 Main Tasks & ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Accounting & Closing: Own the full accounting cycle under Spanish GAAP (PGC), manage AP/AR, expense reports, fixed assets/inventory reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/year-end closes, and coordinate with external tax/audit advisors.Treasury & Cash Management: Manage daily cash position, bank reconciliations, cash-flow forecasting, monthly payment proposals, and execute SEPA payment runs.Management Control & FP&A: Support the CFO in preparing the annual budget, periodic forecasts, monthly management reporting, variance analysis, and cost tracking by department and project.Public Funding & Grants Management: Manage the technical-economic justification, cost tracking, and audit follow-ups for public grants and subsidized loans (CDTI, ENISA, EU/regional programs), as well as R&D&I tax incentive certifications (IMV).Process Optimization & ERP: Improve, standardize, and automate financial internal controls and workflows within Odoo.🎯 Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) in Administration & Finance, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Finance, or equivalent. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Treasury, Financial Control, or Audit, gained within Scale-up, Startup, or industrial/CAPEX-intensive tech environments. Systems: Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (or similar modular ERPs) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. Financial & Tax Expertise: Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC), Spanish taxation (VAT/SII, withholdings, Corporate Income Tax), and public funding frameworks (CDTI/ENISA/R&D tax incentives). Languages: Professional fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken & written).
