Financial Controller

We’re delighted to be partnering with a global data and software business to appoint a Financial Controller across their EMEA region, with real scope to shape the future of the finance function.This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on leader seeking more than steady-state controllership. You’ll play a key role in transforming a large international finance operation, driving simplification, standardisation and scalability.The RoleYou’ll own financial operations across multiple entities in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and beyond, leading an outsourced offshore accounting team and overseeing the full record-to-report cycle. Reporting to the EMEA Controller, you’ll act as the regional finance lead.What You’ll OwnRecord to report: Lead the offshore accounting team, ensuring timely close and high-quality reconciliations.Reporting: Deliver quarterly management packs, monthly P&L variance analysis and balance sheet reviews.Statutory and tax: Oversee local filings, VAT and corporation tax returns, and external audits.Cash and controls: Manage cash, intercompany payments, tax forecasting and compliance with group policies.Transformation: Drive ERP implementation, automation, entity rationalisation and acquisition integration.Business partnering: Provide value-adding support to regional commercial leaders.What You’ll BringACA/ACCA qualified, with strong technical accounting and tax expertise.Experience leading remote or outsourced teams across multiple countries.Advanced Excel; Dynamics AX or D365 experience preferred.A track record in financial control, change management and process improvement.Commercially minded, resilient and detail-focused, with strong stakeholder management skills.Why Apply?Own a substantial multi-country remit.Shape a major finance transformation.Gain direct exposure to EMEA and Group finance leadership.If you’re ready to Financial Controller who wants to lead and transform, not just maintain, please submit your CV for a confidential conversation.
