Maldon & Tiptree Football Club was formed in July 2010 through the amalgamation of Maldon Town and Tiptree United, bringing together two established local teams into a single, community-focused club. Known as “The Jammers,” the club has a strong identity and loyal local following. Maldon & Tiptree FC is committed to developing football talent, promoting inclusive participation, and fostering a positive environment for players, staff, and supporters.Maldon & Tiptree FC is embarking on an exciting new chapter and is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded leader to become our Founding Academy Director. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a brand-new Football & Education Academy from the ground up, creating life-changing opportunities for young people while shaping the future of one of Essex's most ambitious football clubs.Based in Maldon, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and developing the academy's football and education pathways, building partnerships with colleges and education providers, driving student recruitment, and creating a financially sustainable model that delivers excellence both on and off the pitch.We are looking for an inspirational leader with experience in football academies, sports education, youth development or further education, alongside strong commercial awareness and the ability to build successful partnerships.
