Functional Analyst - OFSAA

Job Description – OFSAA Consultant Experience: 3–8 Years Location: Mumbai Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced OFSAA Consultant with strong expertise in functional testing of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), particularly Profitability Management and IFRS 9 applications. The candidate will be responsible for validating business functionalities, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and ensuring application quality in line with business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform functional testing of OFSAA Profitability Management and IFRS 9 applications.Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.Validate application outputs, calculations, reports, and business rules against expected results.Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL queries.Identify, document, track, and retest defects in coordination with development and business teams.Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders during testing cycles.Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and testing sign-off documentation.Support UAT activities and ensure timely closure of testing deliverables.Required Skills and Qualifications5–8 years of overall experience in IT, with relevant experience in OFSAA functional testing.Hands-on experience in functional testing of OFSAA Profitability Management and IFRS 9 applications.Good understanding of banking and financial services business processes.Knowledge of IFRS 9 concepts, including expected credit loss (ECL), impairment, and related calculations.Understanding of profitability management concepts, including cost allocation, profitability analysis, and financial calculations.Strong SQL skills for database validation and data reconciliation.Experience in test case preparation, execution, defect management, and regression testing.Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
