Department: MechanicalIndustry: Marine / Shipbuilding / Ship Repair Employment: Full Time, OnsiteThe RoleThe ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of marine mechanical systems, basic electrical equipment, and hands-on experience supervising vessel maintenance and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities Supervise maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine machinery, pumps, valves, piping, hydraulic systems, winches, and auxiliary equipment. Oversee basic electrical maintenance involving motors, starters, control panels, batteries, and lighting systems. Manage technicians, subcontractors, manpower allocation, tools, materials, and daily work schedules. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures, quality standards, and technical specifications. Monitor work progress, conduct inspections, coordinate testing, and prepare daily reports. Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient site operations and timely project completion. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification. 5–8 years of relevant technical experience, with strong exposure to marine mechanical maintenance and repair. Strong knowledge of marine machinery, hydraulic systems, piping, and basic electrical equipment. Experience managing technicians, subcontractors, and multiple repair activities. Good understanding of marine safety procedures, quality standards, and site operations. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and team management skills. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
