Geotechnical / Tunnelling & Shaft Design Lead

The incumbent will lead engineering teams and oversee geotechnical, tunnelling and shaft design and supervision for major tunnelling projects, ensuring technical excellence, safety, quality and timely project delivery.

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree in a related engineering discipline is preferred.
• At least 15 years’ experience in tunnelling engineering design and supervision or a related field, including at least 5 years’ proven experience leading tunnelling engineering teams in the UAE and managing large-scale tunnelling projects similar to DSST.
• In-depth knowledge of tunnelling methods, equipment and safety standards, with proficiency in tunnelling and geotechnical software and tools.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English.
