WE'RE HIRINGHead of Finance & Corporate AffairsGlobal Education Platform (GEP) | Office-based | Reports to the CEOAbout the roleGlobal Education Platform is looking for a senior finance leader to be the CEO's right hand in running the business. You'll lead strategic finance, own corporate governance and compliance, and manage the corporate services that keep GEP and its group entities running well.Key responsibilitiesLead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.Provide management accounts and performance insights to the CEO.Manage banking, treasury and cash flow across group entities.Drive receivables monitoring and recovery.Oversee finances with universities, awarding bodies and education partners.Evaluate new projects and opportunities through financial modelling.Maintain financial controls, procurement policy and month-end close.Lead statutory audits and manage tax compliance.Handle company secretarial work, statutory filings and corporate registrations.Review contracts and legal documents, and escalate to counsel when needed.Run governance, compliance, risk and Board reporting.Develop and maintain organisational policies and business continuity plans.Manage vendor relationships, supplier payments and commercial terms.Coordinate cross-functional projects and make sure management decisions are followed through.Build and lead the finance and corporate affairs functions.What you'll bringA bachelor's degree. An MBA or postgraduate qualification in finance, law or business is strongly preferred, and CA, CIMA or ACCA is an advantage.5+ years of progressive finance leadership, including 3+ years as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.Proven experience in corporate governance, company secretarial work or regulatory compliance.A track record of managing statutory audits, Board reporting and banking or regulator relationships.Confidence reviewing contracts, sound commercial judgement, and discretion with confidential matters.Excellent written and spoken English.
