100% Knit Garments Manufacturing is looking for Head of Sample DepartmentJob Description / ResponsibilityLead and manage the entire Sample Department to ensure timely and accurate sample development and execution.Oversee the development of all types of knit garment samples, including Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP, Salesman, and Shipment Samples.Ensure samples are developed according to buyer requirements, approved tech packs, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Pattern, CAD, Cutting, Sewing, Quality, and Production Departments.Ensure proper interpretation of buyer comments and timely implementation of necessary corrections.Monitor sample room productivity, workflow, and delivery schedules to meet buyer deadlines.Develop effective work plans and allocate responsibilities to ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources.Identify technical difficulties during sample development and provide effective solutions.Ensure proper construction, workmanship, measurement accuracy, and finishing quality of all samples.Maintain effective communication with buyers, buying houses, and internal stakeholders regarding sample-related matters.Lead, motivate, and develop the sample team to achieve departmental objectives and continuous improvement.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringDiploma in Textile EngineeringBachelor's degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a relevant discipline will be preferred.Skills Required: Garments Manufacturing, Tailoring, Sample DevelopmentExperience RequirementsAt least 10 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments,Textile,Buying HouseAdditional RequirementsExcellent knowledge of knit garment construction, fabrics, trims, patterns, and sewing techniques.Strong understanding of buyer requirements, tech packs, measurement specifications, and quality standards.Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Strong capability to manage a large sample team independently.Job LocationGazipur (Kaliakair)
