Team Lead – IT Infrastructure

Location: Ahmedabad, GujaratExperience: 5+ YearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and technically strong Team Lead – IT Infrastructure to oversee our IT infrastructure, network systems, servers, and infrastructure operations.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking, Linux and Windows environments, server management, and virtualization, along with proven team leadership capabilities.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure stability, security, high availability, and efficient team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, servers, and IT infrastructure.Manage server provisioning, configuration, patching, and upgrades to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.Plan and lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and scaling initiatives.Implement and maintain 24/7 infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.Ensure infrastructure operations comply with industry standards, data privacy laws, and internal policies.Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.Collaborate with DevOps, Development, QA, Security, and Product teams to align infrastructure requirements with business needs.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of System Administrators, including task delegation, performance reviews, and professional development.Manage workload distribution, resolve team conflicts, and encourage knowledge sharing.Ensure proper access control, periodic infrastructure audits, and technical documentation.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, including 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.Strong hands-on experience in enterprise-level networking, including routing, switching, TCP/IP protocols, and load balancing.Practical experience with Linux OS configuration, administration, and performance tuning.In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems.Hands-on experience in server management and virtualization concepts.Strong understanding of networking components, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers.Knowledge of data security, access management, and infrastructure controls.Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and incident management skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle critical infrastructure incidents effectively.Ideal Candidate ProfileStrong technical and troubleshooting capabilities.Ability to balance hands-on infrastructure management with team leadership.Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and critical systems.Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.Ownership-driven approach towards infrastructure reliability and performance.
