Insolvency & Litigation Associate

An international law firm is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Associate to join its Insolvency & Dispute Resolution practice in Dubai. The role will involve advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including complex commercial disputes, corporate insolvency and restructuring, liquidations, receiverships, schemes of arrangement, debt recovery and asset tracing and enforcement. The successful candidate will also work on company and partnership disputes, financial services litigation, regulatory investigations, and security enforcement matters, acting for a diverse client base including banks, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, investment funds, corporates, directors, shareholders and high-net-worth individuals.Candidates should have 5–7 years’ post-qualification experience gained within an international law firm and be qualified in England & Wales, with an additional Commonwealth qualification. Strong academics, excellent technical and drafting skills, and experience handling complex, cross-border disputes and insolvency matters are essential. Offshore jurisdiction experience would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, proactive and keen to contribute to business development, strengthen client relationships and support the continued growth of the practice across the region. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team are also important.
