IT Support Field Engineer

Salary: AED 5,000 per month (fixed). Please apply only if this salary works for you.About the roleWe are looking for a hands-on, proactive IT Support Field Engineer to join our team. You will visit client offices across the UAE and support users remotely, looking after desktops, servers, networks, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace and backups. If you enjoy fixing problems on site, keeping systems running and looking after customers, we would like to hear from you.What you will do- Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals, keeping downtime to a minimum.- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and macOS.- Maintain, upgrade and support servers to keep systems available and performing well.- Help with network and infrastructure tasks, including router, switch and firewall configuration.- Manage and support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and other hosted email services.- Migrate and configure user accounts, mailboxes and settings between platforms.- Apply cloud security settings and look after backup solutions.- Install, configure and maintain networking devices, servers and storage.- Run data backup and recovery processes to protect client information.What we are looking for- Proven experience as an IT Field Engineer, IT Support Engineer or similar role, with both on-site and remote support.- Good knowledge of desktop and server installation, configuration and troubleshooting.- Working knowledge of Windows Server roles (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and hosted email.- Understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs and Wi-Fi.- Experience with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup solutions.- Knowledge of endpoint security and firewall management.- Clear spoken and written English and a strong customer-service attitude.- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Other requirements- Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).- Willing to travel between client sites across the UAE.- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 / Azure, or Google Workspace are a plus.
