JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support histology and laboratory operations within the Assay Research and Development team.Key responsibilitiesPerform microtome sectioning of FFPE tissue samplesSupport H&E staining of tissue slidesOperate slide-imaging equipment and manage image-processing workflowsOrganize and track tissue samples, slides, reagents, and laboratory suppliesMaintain laboratory organization, inventory, and documentationFollow established protocols and accurately document completed workAssist with routine equipment maintenance and general laboratory support activitiesDepending on experience and training, assist with PCR, sequencing, and other molecular biology workflowsMinimum qualifications - Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentHands-on laboratory experience through employment, coursework, or other trainingExperience using pipets and basic laboratory skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written proceduresBasic computer skills and willingness to learn laboratory software workflowsAbility to work onsite and perform routine laboratory tasks safely and reliablyPreferred qualificationsHistology experience, including tissue sectioning, H&E staining, and imagingExperience with PCR, next-generation sequencing or other molecular biology workflowsExperience maintaining laboratory inventories and organized workspaces
