Senior QA/QC Manager – Civil & Infrastructure Location: Dubai, UAE – Covering Multiple Projects Company: Leading UAE Civil & Infrastructure Contractor Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: AED 25,000–40,000 monthly package (depending on experience) About the Company: Our client is a leading UAE Civil & Infrastructure Contractor with an established track record of delivering major engineering and infrastructure projects across the region. They are looking to appoint a Senior QA/QC Manager within their SHEQ department to oversee quality assurance and quality control across major civil and infrastructure projects. Position Overview: The Senior QA/QC Manager will oversee quality management across projects including highways, road networks, airport runways, bridges, tunnels and associated infrastructure works. The role will focus on implementing quality management systems, maintaining compliance with project specifications and ensuring construction works meet client and authority requirements. Working closely with project leadership, engineering and construction teams, you will coordinate QA/QC activities, monitor quality performance and support the prevention and resolution of quality issues throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Management Systems: Implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures, ensuring consistent application across projects and alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Project Quality Planning: Oversee the preparation and implementation of Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and associated procedures in line with specifications and contractual requirements.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate and support project QA/QC teams, setting priorities, reviewing performance and providing technical guidance on quality requirements.
• Inspections & Testing: Oversee inspection and testing activities for materials and construction works, coordinating with site teams, consultants and approved laboratories.
• Non-Conformances & Corrective Actions: Manage non-conformance reporting, investigate recurring quality issues and ensure corrective actions address root causes and are verified before closure.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Quality: Assess supplier and subcontractor quality performance, ensuring materials, documentation and completed works meet project requirements.
• Audits & Performance Reporting: Conduct and coordinate quality audits, monitor performance trends and report significant issues and improvement actions to relevant management teams.
• Client Coordination & Handover: Work with clients and consultants to resolve quality matters and oversee the completion of inspection records, test results and quality documentation required for handover. Requirements & Experience:
• UAE civil and infrastructure construction experience is essential.
• Proven experience managing QA/QC on large-scale projects, with responsibility appropriate to a Senior QA/QC Manager role.
• Experience on major civil and infrastructure projects valued up to and around AED 1 billion.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control requirements for works such as roads, highways, airport runways, bridges, tunnels and associated infrastructure.
• Practical experience implementing quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, inspection records and testing documentation.
• Strong understanding of construction specifications, materials testing, non-conformance management and corrective action processes.
• Experience coordinating QA/QC teams and working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project delivery teams.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving and reporting skills.
