Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, finished products, and prototypes.
• Assist in product development and formulation trials under the supervision of the technical team.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, formulations, and observations.
• Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used according to safety and quality standards.
• Support quality control activities and investigate product complaints or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in construction materials or industrial mortars.
• Familiarity with lab instruments and testing procedures (e.g., viscosity, setting time, compressive strength).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
