We help young men navigate the challenges and transitions of their personal lives, relationships and careers.Demand is strong: the waitlist has held 20+ clients for months, and we receive several referrals each week. At current demand, you could reasonably build to 20 sessions a week within your first six months, if you want a full caseload and that's up to you.You’d be our first contracted clinician. The role and the practice will evolve as we grow, and we’ll try new things along the way. What won’t change is a commitment to making this work low-stress and highly rewarding, both professionally and financially.Compensation and flexibility$110–$120 per session hour (1099 contract)20 weekly sessions earns $100,000+ per year, with room for 4+ weeks off.30-35 weekly sessions earns around $200,000 per year, with room for 4+ weeks offSet your own schedule and choose the clients you seeKeep working with other practices or platforms if you’d like.No non-compete or non-solicitation clauses. If you decide to move on, your clients are free to continue working with you. I hope you’ll stay, but I’ll support a smooth transition if you go.QualificationsMaster’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related fieldActive, unrestricted clinical license in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or licensed psychologist)Preferred: licensure in DC and/or MarylandPreferred: 1+ years of post-licensure experience in individual therapy with young men, especially around identity, career transitions, relationships, anxiety and the general chaos of your twenties and thirtiesPreferred: interest and experience working with teen boys (ages 13–19)ResponsibilitiesProvide evidence-based individual psychotherapy to young men and teen boysComplete documentation promptlyJob type: Contract (1099), full or part-time caseloadPay: $110.00 - $120.00 per hour
