Lift Supervisor

Job Description

Develop and implement safe lifting plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsMonitor and supervise all lifting activities, including the operation of cranes and other lifting equipmentConduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate safety risksProvide training and guidance to crane operators and other site personnel to enhance their understanding of safe lifting practicesMaintain accurate records of all lifting operations, including equipment inspections and maintenanceCollaborate with project managers and other site supervisors to coordinate lifting activities and ensure the smooth progress of construction workIdentify and address any issues or concerns related to lifting operations, and implement corrective actions as necessaryRequirement:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industryThorough understanding of lifting equipment, load calculations, and safe lifting practicesExcellent knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA and DOSH requirementsStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of crane operators and other site personnelProficient in the use of site management software and toolsAbility to work under pressure and make timely decisions to ensure the safety and efficiency of lifting operations
