MITALI GROUP is looking for Manager - Garments Washing & DyeingJob Description / ResponsibilityJob ContextMitali Group, a leading 100% export-oriented knit composite group, is looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven professional for the position of Manager – GARMENTS Washing & Dyeing to lead its GARMENTS Washing & Dyeing operations.The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in garments washing and dyeing, innovative finishing techniques, with the ability to ensure consistent product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with international buyer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and oversee the overall operations of the GARMENTS Dyeing & Washing Department, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all activities.Develop and implement innovative WASHING processes, washing techniques, and value-added finishing solutions in line with evolving buyer requirements and market trends.Drive product development initiatives, including research, laboratory development, lab dips, bulk shade development, and washing trials.Ensure shade accuracy, color consistency, reproducibility, and adherence to established quality standards.Work closely with Merchandising, Production, Quality Assurance, and Technical teams to ensure timely product development and smooth bulk production execution.Identify opportunities to optimize chemical consumption, water usage, energy efficiency, production costs, and overall process performance.Ensure proper chemical management, process control, and compliance with international buyer standards, environmental regulations, and relevant sustainability requirements.Monitor departmental performance, identify operational challenges, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Lead, develop, and motivate the departmental team to achieve product development targets, production objectives, and continuous improvement goals.Maintain effective communication with buyers, technical representatives, and internal stakeholders regarding product development and process-related matters.Educational RequirementsB.Sc. in Textile Engineering, preferably in Wet Processing, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
