We believe in making Great Moments for Everyone, Every day.JOB TITLEManager, Legal | MAF Properties | Head OfficeROLE SUMMARYThe position is mainly responsible to handle under the supervision of the Legal Director or the Senior Legal Counsel, (as applicable) various legal aspects of Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ shopping malls’ business in the assigned Region. This includes providing sound and cost-effective legal advice and services to Majid Al Futtaim Properties Management / Shopping Malls Business Unit with respect to business growth and continuity.ROLE PROFILEProvide legal advice to regional leadership on shopping mall operations, ensuring business decisions minimize legal, financial, and reputational risks.Draft, review, and maintain legal templates and agreements, including leases, commercial contracts, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and corporate documents.Support and manage litigation, disputes, and legal actions, coordinating with external law firms and reviewing their legal opinions and submissions.Assist with legal matters related to HR, employment law, IT, and internal policies affecting shopping mall operations.Conduct legal due diligence and work with external counsel to support business transactions and operational requirements.Advise on complex legal issues, identify risks, and implement preventive measures to avoid disputes and protect company interests.Support negotiations with external parties, providing legal guidance to secure favorable outcomes and safeguard Majid Al Futtaim's interests.Monitor legal developments and compliance requirements, promote company values and code of conduct, and support team development through feedback and performance guidance.REQUIREMENTS5–7 years of progressive legal experience in a commercial law firm or real estate development company.Proven experience handling legal matters within GCC countries in a similar role.Strong knowledge of corporate, fiscal, economic, civil, and commercial laws.Ability to provide legal guidance on complex business and real estate matters.Bachelor's degree in Law is required.Additional qualifications in Business Studies, Real Estate Management, or Real Estate Development are preferred and considered an advantage.WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
