Marine Spare Parts Sales & Procurement Manager

About the Role

We are a growing maritime holding group in Dubai expanding our footprint into Marine Spare Parts Trading. We currently hold an existing inventory of marine spares and are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Marine Spare Parts Sales & Procurement Manager to lead, structure, and scale this new business unit.In this strategic dual role, you will take full ownership of monetizing existing inventory, building strong supply chains, driving direct sales to shipowners and yards, and establishing a profitable marine spare parts trading desk.

Key Responsibilities

📦 Inventory Valuation & Optimization: Review, categorize, and identify part numbers, maker references, and compatibility for existing stock; evaluate market value and establish target selling prices.📈 Sales & Business Development: Actively generate sales leads and build long-term commercial relationships with shipowners, ship managers, repair yards, and marine dealers.🛒 Strategic Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and build relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), authorized distributors, and global marine suppliers to source high-demand parts at competitive margins.🛠️ Technical Order Fulfillment: Handle end-to-end commercial operations including inquiries, technical specs verification, quotations, price negotiation, purchasing, logistics coordination, and after-sales support.🔍 Quality & Compliance Control: Verify part specifications, condition, compatibility, and supporting technical documentation/certificates prior to procurement or dispatch.📊 Margin & Inventory Management: Monitor stock turnover, minimize slow-moving inventory, and maintain healthy profit margins across all transactions.Requirements & Qualifications:💼 Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in marine spare parts sales, technical procurement, or marine equipment trading.⚙️ Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of marine machinery, main & auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and electrical/automation components. Ability to read technical drawings, part catalogs, and maker references.🌐 Industry Network: Established relationships with ship managers, shipowners, repair yards, and global spare parts suppliers/OEMs.📊 Commercial Track Record: Proven history of closing sales deals, managing technical procurements, and delivering profitable trading margins.🚀 Autonomous Mindset: High level of initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to build and structure a business division from the ground up.
