Role Overview To have a material strategic and financial impact on our clients, we need to have a Mobile Engineering team able to consistently do the best work of their careers for each client. The environment is complex: a multi-platform stack spanning a headless Shopify architecture, microservices, Sanity CMS, and robust e-commerce experiences. The right candidates will be technically strong, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to unblock implementation and drive mobile product quality at pace.Your Day ● Flutter App Development & Backlog Clearance: Day-to-day development, testing, and documentation of mobile features using Flutter and Dart. Clear and manage an active backlog with a focus on speed, performance, and user experience. ● Figma-to-Code Implementation: Translate new feature designs into pixel-perfect, responsive mobile UI components. Own the frontend scope from Figma through to QA sign-off. ● API & Microservices Integration: Work closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices into the mobile app, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient error handling. ● E-commerce & Shopify Architecture: Build and maintain complex e-commerce flows utilizing Shopify's Storefront API, handling product catalogs, carts, checkouts, and custom app sessionization logic. ● Sanity CMS Integration: Implement dynamic, content-driven experiences powered by Sanity CMS, ensuring content updates reflect seamlessly on the mobile app. ● State Management & Architecture: Support and maintain scalable application architecture and robust state management solutions (e.g., BLoC, Riverpod) to ensure a stable and maintainable codebase. ● Performance Profiling: Monitor and optimize app performance, frame rendering times, and memory usage to ensure a smooth, native-like experience on both iOS and Android. ● Cross-Platform Parity: Collaborate with web teams to ensure feature parity and a cohesive user experience across web and native mobile platforms. ● App Store Deployment: Manage the release process for Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including CI/CD pipelines, provisioning profiles, and versioning. ● Intake & Refinement Participation: Join weekly refinement meetings to assess incoming epics and tickets for mobile impact, applying technical labels and scoping new requirements. Desired Profile Basic Qualifications: C1 English level● Mobile Development Experience: 4–5+ years of hands-on mobile development in a DTCor e-commerce environment, with at least 2+ years of professional Flutter/Dart experience. ● Flutter & Dart: Strong proficiency in Flutter, Dart, state management (BLoC, Provider, Riverpod), and building complex custom UI components. ● E-commerce & Shopify: Solid experience building native mobile e-commerce applications, integrating with Shopify's Storefront API, and navigating custom checkout constraints. ● Microservices & APIs: Demonstrated ability to consume and integrate with complex microservices architectures, GraphQL, and REST APIs. ● Sanity CMS: Experience integrating headless CMS solutions, specifically Sanity, into mobile applications to drive dynamic content. ● Figma-to-Code Translation: Ability to translate Figma designs into developer-ready, responsive Flutter code, technically fluent enough to collaborate with designers and connect to business outcomes. ● Developer Collaboration: Proven ability to work alongside backend and web engineering teams, unblock implementation issues, and scope tickets clearly in Jira. ● Documentation: Strong documentation habits with experience maintaining centralized, cross-functional engineering documentation.
