In this role, the tutor plans and conducts live, interactive online lessons, adapting teaching methods to individual student needs and learning goals. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, assigning and reviewing homework and quizzes, and tracking student progress against curriculum objectives. The tutor provides regular feedback to students and communicates with parents or guardians as needed, maintaining clear and professional online communication. The role also involves collaborating with the iMaster EdTech team to align with academic standards and participate in training or quality assurance activities.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Online Tutoring and Tutoring skills, with experience delivering live virtual lessons to A Level students.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.Candidates should possess solid subject-matter expertise in Biology, with thorough knowledge of A Level curricula (e.g., Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CIE).Candidates should possess foundational Mathematics skills sufficient to support biology-related quantitative work and scientific reasoning.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology or a closely related field are highly beneficial.Prior experience teaching or tutoring in international curricula (IGCSE, A Levels, IB) and familiarity with online teaching tools and learning platforms are advantageous.Strong organizational skills, reliable internet access, and the ability to work full-time in a remote, student-centered environment are required.
