Pharmacist

Location: JeddahA community pharmacy based is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team.Role DescriptionThe Pharmacist will work full time on-site in Jeddah, providing safe and accurate dispensing of medications to patients and healthcare teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, verifying dosages, checking for drug interactions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and pharmacy policies. The role involves counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage, as well as answering questions from prescribers and other healthcare professionals. The Pharmacist will manage inventory, maintain accurate records, oversee prescription processing workflows, and support quality assurance initiatives. Participation in clinical reviews, health promotion activities, and continuous professional development is expected.QualificationsStrong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication safety.Proficiency in prescription verification, dispensing processes, and patient counseling practices.Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and adherence to regulations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, prescribers, and multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, electronic health records, and basic computer applications.Recognized degree in Pharmacy and valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction.Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous learning in line with professional standards.Previous experience in community or hospital pharmacy settings in Jeddah or the wider region is an advantage.
