Location: Netherlands (site-based, with travel to other sites)Contract: Permanent, full-timeAbout the roleOur client is a leading organisation operating at significant scale, where automation and data play a central role in daily operations.

They are looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to help improve efficiency, reliability and performance in a high-volume, automated operational environment.You'll work closely with engineering, maintenance and operational teams. Using data and practical problem-solving, you'll find opportunities to improve, investigate operational challenges and help deliver measurable results. The role combines analytical work with hands-on collaboration across teams and sites.Key responsibilitiesAnalyse operational data to find inefficiencies, recurring problems and opportunities to improve performance.Investigate significant operational issues, find their root causes and coordinate follow-up actions.Develop and implement improvements to working methods, processes and operational performance.Produce reports and performance indicators that support planning and decision-making.Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards that make operational trends easier to see.Work with engineering and operational colleagues to assess improvement proposals and track how well they work.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Support improvement initiatives across multiple sites.About youDegree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Logistics or a related discipline.Experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, operational analysis or a similar technical environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.Confident using reporting tools, databases and performance metrics.Able to work well with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.Organised and proactive, and comfortable running improvement work independently.Fluent in Dutch and English.Willing to travel to other sites as required.
