Procurement Manager - CAPEX (Mining and EPC)

Position: Capex Procurement Manager – Mining and Mineral Processing Location: Dubai, OnsiteSalary: Maximum upto AED 32,000Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – CAPEX Procurement with a strong background in mining, metals, or mineral processing projects. The role will be responsible for managing procurement activities for engineering, equipment, and construction packages throughout the project execution cycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimisation, and effective vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and procurement of mining equipment, spare parts, consumables, and project-related packages.Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and contract negotiations.Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with local and international suppliers.Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements and timelines.Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality, and contractual compliance.Drive cost optimisation, procurement planning, and supply-chain risk management.Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.Requirements8–12 years of overall procurement experience.Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Mining EPC, Metals, or Mineral Processing projects.Strong exposure to CAPEX procurement, processing equipment, and construction packages.Experience managing international vendor networks and complex procurement cycles.Strong commercial negotiation, contract management, and bid evaluation skills.Engineering or Supply Chain educational background.Experience working with EPC contractors or mine owners is preferred.Gold / base metals processing plant and Africa project exposure will be an advantage.
