Project Engineer

CHINT has been listed among the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises for more than 20 consecutive years.Job Summary: The Project Engineer at CHINT Dammam manages the end-to-end execution of factory manufacturing projects, driving order delivery from initial handover through engineering, procurement, production, and final testing. Operating within our localized Saudi Arabian manufacturing facility, this role serves as the primary technical and commercial liaison for clients, ensuring Medium Voltage (MV) products and Ring Main Units (RMUs) meet precise engineering specifications and milestones. The position requires seamless cross-functional coordination across internal production and QA/QC teams, alongside a strong background in Electrical Engineering and experience with Saudi utilities or Aramco projects to guarantee on-time project closeout. This role will be based in our Dammam MV Joint venture setup with ATC.Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do:Manage projects from order handover through engineering, procurement, production, testing and delivery.Review contracts, technical specifications, approved drawings, bills of materials and delivery commitments.Prepare project schedules and monitor milestones, material availability and production progress.Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Production and QA/QC to resolve issues and prevent delays.Act as the main customer contact for project execution, technical clarifications, approvals and progress updates.Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT), inspections, delivery documentation and project closeout.Track changes in scope, additional costs and delivery risks, and escalate issues promptly.Provide regular project reports showing progress, pending actions, responsible persons and completion dates.Required Qualifications / This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Below:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Practical knowledge of MV Products, RMUs etc.Ability to read single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, general arrangements and customer specifications.Experience coordinating several factory projects simultaneously.Strong planning, follow-up, communication and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel, MS Project and ERP/SAP systems.Previous experience with Saudi utility, Aramco, water or industrial projects is preferred.What CHINT OffersA Competitive Salary & BenefitsWork-Life BalanceProfessional DevelopmentMore About CHINTFind out more about CHINT on our website: https://chintglobal.com/about-us-13
