Record-to-Report (R2R) Accountant

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.Prepare and review financial reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.Support intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.Coordinate with regional finance teams and stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies, obtain necessary information, and ensure timely completion of reporting deliverables.Communicate financial information, accounting issues, and process updates clearly and professionally to colleagues across different countries and business units.Participate in regional or global finance meetings, providing updates on deliverables, explaining accounting issues, and discussing potential solutions.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and established financial reporting procedures.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency.Meet reporting deadlines while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, multinational shared services environment.

Qualifications

Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), general accounting, or financial reporting.Previous experience working in a shared services, global business services, or multinational company environment.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to communicate financial matters clearly and professionally.Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with colleagues and finance teams across different regions.Ability to work collaboratively across cultures, time zones, and functional teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage deadlines and work independently while maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders.This role is based in BGC, Taguig City.
