Team members in Restaurant Operations and Corporate Support help continue the mission established by the founders to deliver consistent quality and service.Role Description The Restaurant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Dothan, AL, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring an excellent guest experience. This position manages shift execution, supervises Associates, and coordinates scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing levels throughout operating hours. The Manager monitors food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards, handles customer inquiries and concerns, and supports training and development of team members. The role includes managing inventory, cash handling, and basic financial reporting to meet performance goals. The Manager also partners with leadership to implement company policies, promote a positive work environment, and maintain Waffle House’s service and brand standards.Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to build rapport and respond effectively to guest needs and concerns.Operational and organizational skills in scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and basic restaurant financials.Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness standards, and health regulations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.Effective communication skills for interacting with Associates, guests, and cross-functional partners.Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Previous restaurant or retail management experience is strongly preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace and supporting Waffle House’s promote-from-within culture.
