Role Description This full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad is for a Senior C++ Distributed Systems Engineer with banking domain experience (6-8 years). The engineer will design, develop, and optimize high-performance distributed systems using modern C++ for mission-critical banking applications. Responsibilities include implementing scalable architectures, improving system reliability and latency, and ensuring secure data processing across multiple services and nodes. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions, performing code reviews, and maintaining coding standards. The engineer will also troubleshoot complex production issues, contribute to system architecture decisions, and support continuous improvement of development and deployment practices.QualificationsStrong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for building scalable, high-availability distributed systems.Experience in System Administration and Technical Support for managing, monitoring, and maintaining complex production environments.Expert-level Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving performance, reliability, and integration issues in distributed architectures.7 years of hands-on experience in C++ development, including multithreading, memory management, and low-latency systems.Proven experience in banking or financial services domain, with understanding of transaction processing, risk, and regulatory requirements.Familiarity with distributed systems frameworks, messaging systems, microservices, and containerization (e.g., gRPC, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker).Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively with product, QA, and operations teams; strong communication and documentation skills.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks is highly beneficial.
