You will provide financial insight, challenge and influence business decisions and identify opportunities to improve profitability and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with senior stakeholders to influence decisions and drive commercial performance.Challenge budgets, forecasts and assumptions based on actual trading performance.Identify risks, opportunities and actions to improve sales, margin and profitability.Evaluate commercial initiatives, digital investment and marketing ROI.Analyse stock performance and model the financial impact of clearance strategies.Provide financial insight and challenge across strategic projects and business decisions.Deliver regular trading and month-end reporting, with clear performance commentary.Lead budgeting and forecasting across sales, margin and digital channels.Explain key variances and incorporate trading trends into forward-looking forecasts.Candidate ProfileStrong commercial finance and business partnering experience.Proven ability to influence decisions and constructively challenge stakeholders.Strong understanding of trading performance, margin and profitability.Excellent analytical, Excel and communication skills.Consumer experience - Retail, Hospitality, FMCG etc.
