Senior Full-Stack Developer -Ruby on Rails

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails (backend) to join our team in Riyadh.You will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable web applications — REST APIs, databases, background processing, and responsive user interfaces.⚠️ Important Requirement: Prior experience working on government projects is required.أضافة مهمة: سبق له العمل على مشاريع حكومية.What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Rails applications with clean, modular, maintainable code
• Design, implement, and document REST APIs
• Design database schemas, migrations, and optimize queries and indexes
• Implement authentication, session management, and role-based access control
• Build background jobs (Sidekiq / Active Job) for notifications, reporting, and integrations
• Build responsive interfaces with reusable, strongly typed React + TypeScript components
• Integrate React frontends with Rails APIs — auth, loading states, validation, errors
• Support multilingual interfaces including Arabic RTL and English LTR
• Write automated tests, review code, and mentor junior developersWhat We're Looking For
• 5+ years in web development, including:→ 3+ years with Ruby on Rails→ 2+ years hands-on with React and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of Ruby, OOP, and MVC architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proven experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services
• Experience with RSpec or Minitest, Git-based workflows
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven experience on government projects (required)Preferred
• Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus | SSO / enterprise identity | CI/CD pipelines
• Next.js | Storybook | Figma | Tailwind CSS
• Enterprise or government applications with demanding security requirements
