Senior Officer - Operational Control Test Reporting & Training (For Emirati Talent)

Job PurposeEnsure to publish Operational Control Self-Test results Report in a timely manner once the testing/monitoring process is completed under the scope of respective business. Ensure to develop the required comprehensive and maintaining high level standards training material as required and training sessions conducted periodically to all the business functions under scope.Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with Operational Controls Monitoring Team and ensure to receive the updated status of the completed self-controls testing / monitoring of the relevant business units as per schedule.
• Ensure that once the self-Controls Testing results are monitored by Operational Controls Monitoring Team publish the report in a timely manner to the related process owner & update the records.
• Ensure to prepare / develop all kind of training material maintaining the high-quality standards for the related activities to perform by the respective business units / process owners.
• Ensure to co-ordinate with HR and develop the training plan in line with the management guide lines to conduct with all the business units / process owner's to perform Operational Controls Self Testing related activities as per approved policy / process.
• Ensure to prepare the required MIS maintaining the accuracy of activities performed along with the project assigned if any and periodically updates provided to the management.
• Act as a full back up of Operational Control Test Monitoring Team Leader as and when required.Job Complexity
• Clear understanding of complex transactions and products.
• Identification of operational control decencies and skill to suggest / develop improved processes.
• Use judgment skills and experience in solving problems relating to operational controls of various units /departments of the bank.
• Ability to understand and migrate best practices in other related areas like AML, Bank's Policies etc., which falls (and impact any of the unit / department) under OCTMR Unit review responsibilities.
• Ability to convey complex issues and solutions in a clear and understandable manner to the senior management.
• Ability to identify and implement new technologies and measures for better work flow management.
• Ability to keep close coordination with Operational Control Design & Issue Management, Compliance, Risk Management, Legal and Sharia units at unit level for better resolutions of the pertinent issues related to various business & / or operating units.EducationMinimum University Degree/ Bachelors. MBA in management & accounting willbe plus. Additionally, any of the internationally recognized job-related certification shall be preferred.Work ExperienceMinimum 3-4 years of banking experience at senior positions, preferably in Banking Operations, Audit, Internal Controls or Risk Management in a centralized environment is desired.
