Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE)Notice Period: Immediate/early Joiners PreferredRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, framework development, API automation, and CI/CD integration.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent programming skills, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to independently design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions.The role involves driving automation initiatives across complex workflows, ensuring quality through robust test automation strategies, and aligning testing practices with CI/CD and DevSecOps processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java with Selenium, Python, or Cypress.Perform API automation and validate end-to-end application workflows.Apply strong programming fundamentals, OOP principles, and clean coding practices while developing automation solutions.Define and implement automation strategies for complex business workflows and large-volume data validation.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to align testing practices with DevSecOps processes.Manage test data and test environments to ensure reliable and consistent test execution.Perform performance testing and SQL-based data validation, including data pipeline testing.Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection requirements, and testing best practices.Independently drive automation-related development activities, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve automation coverage.Mandatory Technical SkillsAutomation Tools: Java with Selenium, Python, or Cypress.Programming: Strong understanding of OOP concepts, clean coding practices, and independent coding capabilities.API Automation: Hands-on experience in API test automation.Framework Development: Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.CI/CD & DevSecOps: Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Data Validation: Strong SQL skills, data pipeline validation, and large-volume data testing.Performance Testing: Hands-on understanding of performance testing concepts and practices.Test Management: Experience in test data and test environment management.Security & Compliance: Awareness of security testing, compliance requirements, and data protection practices.Candidate Profile9–12 years of relevant experience in software testing and test automation.Strong hands-on technical and programming capabilities.Ability to independently design and implement automation solutions.Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Interested candidates can share their updated resumes at nayan@refrelay.com.
