Software Engineer – React Native / React / .NETLocation: Galway | HybridOur client based in Galway is currently on the looking for a Software Engineer. This role has a strong focus on mobile development using React Native, alongside React web applications and C#/.NET backend services. It would suit a mid-to-senior engineer who enjoys building applications across the frontend and backend within a collaborative product team.The RoleDevelop and enhance mobile applications using React Native and web applications using React.Design, build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET.Work closely with Product, UX and Engineering teams to deliver new features and improve customer experiences.Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.Troubleshoot issues and optimise application performance, reliability and scalability.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.What We’re Looking ForStrong software engineering experience at mid-to-senior level.Hands-on experience with React Native and React, with a strong interest in mobile application development.Commercial experience developing applications and services using C# and .NET, ideally .NET Core or .NET 6+.Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.Familiarity with Azure, preferably, or AWS.Experience with Git and modern software development practices.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Experience with SignalR, Redis, event buses or Kafka would be an advantage
