Steel Fabrication Plant Manager

ResponsibilitiesDirect overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, efficiency, financial, and strategic objectives, regularly reviewing performance and implementing corrective actions as neededProvide hands-on leadership, coaching, and employee development, building a performance-driven culture centered on accountability, trust, engagement, and continuous improvementManage plant financial performance, including profitability, manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, budgeting, forecasting, and performance against operating plansLead workforce planning and staffing strategies to ensure the operation has the appropriate talent and resources to meet production, customer, and business requirementsPlan and execute operational improvement and capital projects, collaborating with corporate and cross-functional teams while applying manufacturing, engineering, and technical best practicesPartner with Quality, Production, and other departments to improve product consistency, production scheduling, inventory levels, and overall manufacturing efficiencyQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business/Management/Operations or another related field preferredA minimum of five years of steel manufacturing, welding, press, plasma machining and operations leadership experienceProven ability to implement continuous improvement and Lean methodologies, including Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and transactional Lean practicesStrong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to analyze operational data, identify trends, and support informed decision-makingDemonstrated expertise in manufacturing operations, maintenance, and engineering, combined with strong leadership, team building, coaching, and collaborative problem-solving skillsSalary: $90k - $115kAsk for: Aarti ManchandaClearBridge Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
