Help power what’s next.FPC of Brighton is partnering with a custom power generation business to identify a Supply Chain Director. The company builds integrated power systems for demanding industrial and mission-critical applications, including data centers.Why consider this opportunity?-Direct access to leadership: Report to the business unit’s VP/GM.-People + operational impact: Develop the team while improving supplier delivery and material availability.-Complex, tangible products: Support the power systems behind critical infrastructure.Your impact:You’ll combine team leadership with hands-on supplier management to keep complex builds moving.-Develop the team: Hire, train, coach, and establish clear priorities and performance expectations.-Strengthen suppliers: Evaluate vendors and address delivery, quality, and cost concerns.-Keep production moving: Anticipate shortages, expedite materials, and drive supplier recovery plans.-Connect the departments: Coordinate with internal partners to communicate supply risks and resolve issues.What you bring:-Direct supplier-facing purchasing experience; 5+ years preferred.-Ability to coach employees, establish accountability, and manage competing priorities.-Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.-Proficiency with spreadsheets and procurement systems.-A practical, collaborative approach to solving problems.-Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
