At INI Design Studio, we prioritize sustainability, excellence, and collaboration.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sustainability Analyst with experience in building performance simulation, sustainability assessments, and green building certifications. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating building performance, identifying sustainable design strategies, and supporting projects in achieving environmental performance and green building certification benchmarks.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct building performance simulations for daylight, artificial lighting, energy efficiency, and thermal comfort.Perform sustainability calculations and assess compliance with green building rating systems such as IGBC, LEED, and GRIHA.Identify applicable certification credits and recommend strategies to achieve sustainability benchmarks.Analyse building orientation, façade performance, glazing, shading, and other design parameters to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort.Coordinate with architecture, MEP, façade, and other consultant teams to integrate sustainability strategies during design development.Prepare technical reports, sustainability assessments, and supporting documentation for green building certification.Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to evaluate the environmental impact of building materials and design options, including embodied carbon assessments where applicable.Required Qualifications & SkillsDegree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Design, Building Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.2–5 years of relevant experience in sustainability analysis, green building certification, or building performance simulation.Working knowledge of IGBC, LEED, and GRIHA rating systems.Experience with building energy modelling and daylight/lighting simulation tools such as DesignBuilder, IES VE, EnergyPlus, ClimateStudio, DIALux, Relux, or equivalent software.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.Familiarity with LCA methodologies, embodied carbon calculations, and tools such as One Click LCA or equivalent software.Preferred SkillsExperience working on multidisciplinary building design projects.Understanding of sustainable building design principles and environmental performance benchmarks.Ability to interpret simulation results and translate them into practical design recommendations.
