System Architect

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and maintain brake system functional and safety requirements. Develop and support brake system architecture models. Provide input and direction for software architecture design and partitioning. Create test vectors for functional and safety testing. Work with system test engineers to document test requirements and test results. Coordinate resolution of system test issues. Interface with algorithm and electronic control unit engineering for the development of new products. Support vehicle development/test activities as needed. RequirementsKnowledge of the operation of hydraulic modulators and E-boosters. Understanding of software safety architecture and model-based design. Understanding of vehicle dynamics and potential safety hazards. Basic understanding of electronics hardware design. Knowledge of simulation development tools such as Matlab/Simulink. Strong attention to detail. Good oral and written communication skills. 3-5 years’ experience in automotive brake control development. BSME/CE/CS/EE or similar
