Team Leader - Chargebacks Location - Dubai, UAEWe’re partnering with one of the UAE’s leading banks to hire a Team Leader for its Chargebacks unit within card operations.The roleYou’ll lead a team of 5-6 specialists managing cardholder disputes and settlement under Visa, Mastercard and CBUAE rules. Your job is to make sure every case is handled accurately and on time, with zero operational loss.What you’ll doManage the full dispute lifecycle: chargebacks, representments, pre-arbitration and arbitration within scheme timeframesReport fraudulent and counterfeit transactions to Visa and MastercardOversee reconciliation of chargeback GL and forex settlement accountsValidate Visa and Mastercard settlement and billing, and prepare GL entriesEnsure timely cardholder credits, closure of service requests and outcome communicationsProduce MIS for senior management and ensure regulatory complianceSupport UAT, automation and straight-through processing initiatives, plus operational readiness for co-branded and new card launchesLead, coach and develop the team, and drive continuous improvementWhat you’ll bringAtleast 4+ years in a Visa/Mastercard chargeback role, including 2+ years managing a teamExpert knowledge of Visa and Mastercard dispute rules, settlement and reconciliationHands-on experience with Visa Resolve Online and Mastercom (desirable)Exposure to Network International or Fiserv environments (advantage)A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or similarStrong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholdersPlease note this role is only for UAE nationals for the process of Emiritization.
