With strategic teams in India and the USA, SculptSoft offers services such as AI/ML development, data engineering, web and mobile app development, SaaS and platform engineering, and DevOps and cloud solutions.Role Description The Technical Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for guiding a cross-functional development team in delivering high-quality AI-driven software solutions. This role involves overseeing the technical design and implementation of projects, setting coding standards, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to best practices across the full development lifecycle. The Technical Team Lead collaborates closely with product owners, project managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements, plan sprints, manage risks, and keep projects on schedule and within scope. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring team members, resolving complex technical issues, coordinating troubleshooting efforts, and driving continuous improvement in architecture, performance, and security. The role also requires active participation in technical decision-making, contributing to technology roadmaps, and supporting pre-sales or client discussions when needed.Qualifications Demonstrated Team Management and Team Leadership skills, including mentoring, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment.Strong Software Development experience in modern languages and frameworks, with hands-on expertise in designing, building, and deploying scalable applications.Proficiency in Project Management practices, such as sprint planning, backlog management, and status reporting, ideally within Agile or Scrum environments.Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities, including diagnosing complex issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers and implementing robust fixes.Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and microservices or distributed architectures is highly beneficial.Excellent communication skills for coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and representing the team in client discussions.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience leading teams in product-based or AI-focused software
