Title: VDI Engineer

Location: Hyderabad (5 days Onsite)Contract duration: 12+ monthsNotice Period: 15 days or 30 daysPosition Overview:The VDI Infrastructure Engineer Windows Desktop will support and enhance a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment with a strong focus on Windows operating systems.

This role partners closely with engineering and operations teams to design, build, image, and automate Windows-based virtual desktop solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the Windows ecosystem, VDI platforms, and automation using PowerShell, with limited reliance on cloud native services.

Qualifications

Strong experience as a Windows Desktop Engineer or VDI Infrastructure EngineerExpert-level knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Windows desktop ecosystemHands-on experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure platformsAdvanced PowerShell scripting skills with a focus on automationExperience supporting enterprise-scale desktop environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentLess emphasis on cloud engineering with more focus on Windows OS and VDI expertiseTools and Technologies:Windows operating systemsVirtual Desktop Infrastructure platforms (Citrix)PowerShell scripting and automationWindows desktop management and imaging tools
