3D Graphic Designer – Exhibitions & Events

Company: Strategic Exhibitions & ConferencesIndustry: Exhibitions, Conferences & EventsJob SummaryWe are looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D Graphic Designer with experience in exhibition stand design, event spaces, and technical drawings.

The candidate will be responsible for developing 3D concepts, producing realistic renders, and preparing detailed technical drawings for exhibition stands, booths, stages, and event structures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop 3D concepts for exhibition stands, booths, stages, and event spaces.Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and construction details.Create 3D models, realistic renders, and visual presentations based on client briefs and project requirements.Produce fabrication and installation drawings for production and site execution teams.Ensure designs comply with venue regulations, space limitations, structural requirements, and project specifications.Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.Revise designs and technical drawings based on client feedback and project changes.Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture for exhibition stand designs.Ensure all design files, dimensions, and drawings are accurate and delivered within project deadlines.Support the production and on-site teams during fabrication, installation, and dismantling when required.RequirementsBachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proven experience in 3D exhibition stand design, event design, or interior design.Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D technical drawings and SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent 3D software.Experience with rendering tools such as V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or equivalent.Ability to interpret client briefs and translate concepts into detailed technical drawings and realistic 3D visuals.Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, dimensions, and construction details.Excellent attention to detail, creativity, time management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.Preferred SkillsExperience in exhibition stand fabrication and build-up.Knowledge of large-format graphics, signage, lighting, and event production.Familiarity with technical specifications and venue guidelines.A portfolio showcasing both 3D designs and 2D technical drawings.
