Since 2003, over 5 million students have trusted us to help them prepare for high-stakes examinations.We are looking for a talented modeling artist who can work within a professional team to develop high-quality medical and scientific animations.Your RoleUse modeling software and artistic skill to create, maintain, and update 3D modelsInvolvement in developing medical-related objects, characters, scenes, and human anatomyFollow design guidelines, asset naming conventions, and other technical constraintsKeep up to date with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modeling tools, and related technologiesMaintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivityFollow company art direction and production pipeline, proposing approaches that stimulate positive enhancementsMust be a keen observer of reality with near-perfect understanding of relative scale and dimensions, especially in terms of human anatomyWork collaboratively with other members of 3D teamKeep up to date with the latest developments in modeling tools and technologiesBe able to solve complex technical problems that occur within the environmentEffective time-management skills, including ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions and established protocols/proceduresYour Experience:Degree in fine arts or equivalent with a thorough understanding of anatomy, design, and animation, or 5+ years industry experience specializing in modelingExtensive knowledge of Maya and ZBrushTraditional arts background with emphasis on photo-realistic character work and environments is a plusTeam player with exemplary communication skillsAbility to create detailed anatomy parts as per the reference provided with the blend shapesSoft Skills:Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively, along with ability to understand direction and accept feedbackStrong leadership skills with specific experience managing product priorities, setting delivery expectations, and delivering software enhancements on scheduleOrganization skills, including situational leadership, technical leadership, high attention to detail, and proven ability to resolve field escalations with minimal impact on production schedulesAbility to work effectively within a changing environment experiencing high growthExceptional follow-through, personal drive, and desire to make a difference
