AI Practice Lead

About the OpportunityJoin a leading global digital consultancy in the UAE as an AI Practice Lead, driving the development and delivery of advanced AI solutions across the MENA region.Based in Dubai, this is a senior, hands-on leadership opportunity combining deep technical expertise, commercial thinking and enterprise client engagement.The RoleAs AI Practice Lead, you'll join the regional leadership team, combining deep technical expertise with commercial thinking and client engagement.We're looking for someone who remains close to the technology. Someone who can architect solutions, lead complex AI delivery and confidently engage with senior stakeholders on technical and strategic challenges.You'll play a key role in growing AI capability across the region, from presales and solution design through to production deployment and internal capability development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead AI presales, proposals and solution design for enterprise and financial services clients.Own the delivery of Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions, including RAG, agentic systems and production-ready applications.Lead AI initiatives from proof of concept through to live production.Build internal AI capability through training, certifications and R&D.Provide technical leadership and guidance across complex AI projects.Work closely with regional leadership to shape AI strategy, solutions and delivery.Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.Experience & SkillsStrong hands-on engineering experience across classical Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI.Technical knowledge of Transformers, CNNs, RNNs and modern AI architectures.Proven experience delivering AI solutions from proof of concept into live production environments.Experience with cloud platforms, AI architecture and agentic systems.Experience working within regulated industries, including financial services, telecommunications or government.Background in a hyperscaler, consultancy or in-house AI function.Strong technical credibility with the ability to architect, develop and challenge complex solutions.Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.A collaborative leadership approach with strong commercial awareness.What's on OfferSenior leadership opportunity within a leading global digital consultancy.Opportunity to shape and grow AI capabilities across the MENA region.Direct involvement in complex enterprise AI projects, from solution design through to production.A position within the regional leadership team from day one.Highly competitive salary package.Relocation considered for the right candidate.
