Location: Lisbon, PortugalContract: PermanentWorking arrangement: HybridThe OpportunityI'm working with an established technology business looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join its IT Operations environment in Lisbon.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business analysis, application support and technical problem-solving.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to investigate issues, coordinate resolutions and ensure applications continue to meet business needs.This is an individual contributor position, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the detail rather than moving into people management.What you'll be doingInvestigating application incidents, defects and functional issues.Managing and prioritising tickets, coordinating with relevant teams to drive resolution.Gathering requirements and translating business needs into clear documentation and actionable outcomes.Working with technical teams to investigate root causes, validate fixes and support testing.Supporting UAT, documenting processes and identifying opportunities to improve application performance.Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and keeping colleagues informed of progress.What we're looking forExperience in Business Analysis, Application Support, IT Operations or a similar role.Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.Experience investigating incidents, managing tickets and coordinating resolutions.Confidence working with both business users and technical teams.Experience with SQL, databases, testing or application troubleshooting is beneficial.Exposure to ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira or similar ticketing tools would be advantageous.A proactive, organised individual who enjoys hands-on delivery and regular interaction with colleagues.Experience within financial services, insurance or another complex, business-critical technology environment would be beneficial.What's on offer?Permanent opportunity based in Lisbon.Hybrid working, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.A varied role combining business analysis, application support and technical investigation.The opportunity to work closely with business and technology teams in a collaborative environment.Interested?Apply with your CV or message me directly to discuss the opportunity confidentially.
