Business Development Manager

Novomet Group is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead business development initiatives, strengthen strategic customer relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth across the Iraqi oil & gas market.The successful candidate must possess strong technical and commercial expertise, particularly in Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP), artificial lift systems, and related oilfield equipment and services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development strategies to expand Novomet's market presence in Iraq.Identify and secure new business opportunities with oil & gas operators, contractors, and strategic customers.Promote ESP, artificial lift, industrial pumps, equipment rentals, maintenance, and field services.Manage the complete sales cycle, including customer engagement, technical proposals, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying upcoming projects and market opportunities.Monitor sales performance, revenue forecasts, profitability, receivables, and commercial KPIs.Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance to ensure effective customer service and contract execution.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 7 years of experience in business development or technical sales within the oil & gas industry.Demonstrated experience in ESP, artificial lift systems, or industrial pumps.Strong knowledge of the Iraqi oil & gas market, including Basra, Baghdad, and the Kurdistan Region.Established professional relationships with oilfield operators, international service companies, and major contractors are highly desirable.Proven ability in commercial negotiations, key account management, sales forecasting, and CRM systems.Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Professional proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.How to Apply: Qualified candidates are invited to submit their updated CV to harison.udasan@newlift-group.com
