Chief Accountant

We’re Hiring: Chief Accountant | Almaty, KazakhstanWe are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to lead the company’s accounting function, ensure accurate accounting and tax records, and oversee the timely preparation and submission of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee accounting and tax records in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Prepare and submit tax and financial reports.Monitor settlements with clients and suppliers, payroll calculations, taxes, and mandatory contributions.Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.Develop and update accounting policies and improve internal control procedures.Optimize and automate accounting processes.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan’s accounting and tax legislation.Practical experience in financial reporting and working with tax authorities and auditors.Would Be an Advantage:Experience in an IT/Digital company.Intermediate English or above for working with documents and business correspondence.
