Chief Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee and manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systems.Manage financial reporting, statutory reporting, and financial data analysis to support management decisions.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and provide recommendations on tax planning and optimization.Act as the key contact for tax authorities, external auditors, banks, and other relevant stakeholders.Lead ERP implementation, enhancement, and optimization initiatives to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.Provide financial and accounting advice to senior management, including support for investment-related activities.Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure effective financial governance and compliance.KEY REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.At least 10 years of experience in Accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a Chief Accountant position.Proven Chief Accountant experience in the Fintech industry is required.Chief Accountant Certificate is required; ACCA/CPA qualifications are an advantage.Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERP implementation or optimization.Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
